Nothing is like having a relationship with Jesus. There’s nothing quite like it. It’s just heavenly.

The fulfilment you get from it, the peace that rules in your heart, the joy that runs deep filling every nook and cranny. It’s like that’s where you belong. It’s Home.

Constantly in his presence enjoying His loving embrace all your days. Every minute of every day.

This is such a blessing we have, to have Love Himself living in us. He’s closest to us than anything or anyone can ever be. He’s closer to you than your own skin.

We relate to Him Spirit to Spirit. Our Spirit are our true being and essence. We are not our bodies.

We speak with Him thus spirit to spirit. It doesn’t more intimate than this. How closer can one ever get? This is the deepest and truest of relationships.

If you’ve been in a relationship with any human, you can attest to the fact that the bonds formed are strong and the longing for each other is real. Remember that is a natural relationship. Fed by touch, emotions, thoughts etc. How much more powerful true and fulfilling must a Spiritual relationship be, between Man and God, Church and Christ, Bride and Groom?

But to actually get to a place where we realize these facts in our life, we must first live from the Spirit. We must set our affection on things that are above. We must look not at the things which are natural because they are temporary.

If you live your life from the outside inwards, you won’t ever see Jesus as being as close to you as He is. You will feel like His Love and commitment to your life fluctuates depending on your conduct. You will be convinced you’re alone because you don’t see Him or don’t “feel” Him. But this only happens when we live according to what our senses and emotions tell us.

However, this is an improper inefficient way for a Spiritual Being such as you to live and try to relate to a Spiritual God through.

We are ever in Jesus’ loving embrace, Every single moment of our lives. We however don’t always experience this, but are the scriptures mistaken in saying the Lord will never leave us? That He Loves us with an incomparable Love? If anyone is off the mark it must be us.

But are we surprised?

We have lived our entire lives training ourselves to live only in the natural and consider the Spiritual as a conceptual dream world far removed from reality.

For most of us, following God’s guidance is absurd. It’s as if we think the one who died for us has ill motives. We ought to trust God enough to follow Him with our eyes closed. Trusting He will take us to wherever we need to be.

Brethren, the moment you received Jesus, your Spirit was given Life. And you ought to tap into that. Because it is the real you. And in the Spirit, you are always with Jesus, you Are like Jesus, you are His Bride, He longs for you, He is in love with you. Talk to Him, Hear from Him. Listen to Him. Chat with Him. Build your relationship. If He was a human, how committed would you be?

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. ~Eph 2:13 KJV

We go to God, yap about all our issues and just when God is about to say something you walk away. We are in a relationship where we visit Jesus once a week on Sunday, then every other day is spent away from Him fully occupied with work, TV, social media, friends, movies etc

Let’s shift our gaze to our Lover, set our affection on Him. Keep His Words always on your lips and His Love letters before your eyes always. Turn off the other signal, tune in to the Spirit. For therein lies your satisfaction and fulfilment. You’ll be complete in Jesus’ loving embrace.

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) ~Heb 10:22–23 KJV

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. ~Jas 4:8 KJV

Draw closer to me, and I will draw closer to you. He is already as close as can be but your mind is alienating you.
